The car being an 81 is still under control of the computer. I did not do my research, relying on the advice of the comp cams advice. Realizing that my goal with the car is to get it back to as stock as possible I installed the Comp Cams Pure Energy cam thinking that this would be a stock cam.I never took a vacuum reading ( my bad) because the original owner stated that they had changed the camshaft with "something a little more aggressive" and suggested I get a vacuum can to help with the power brakes When I bought the car the brakes were also not as "powered" as I feel they should.I think I made a mistake because now my vacuum is around 15" and I don't like the way my power brakes feel.

I installed the Comp Cams Pure Energy Cam (12-305-2) on my otherwise stock little 267 engine.
